The mission of Al-Shumou’ Cultural Center is to promote Palestinian culture across generations and to preserve the Palestinian cultural heritage and its collective identity.

The Mission of Al-Shumou’ Cultural Center is to:

• Increase the awareness of Palestinian generations about Palestinian culture.
• Preserve the Palestinian cultural heritage, especially in areas most affected by the occupation.
• Strengthen farmers’ resilience and enhance their sense of belonging to their land.
• Build the capacities of youth and develop their skills in preserving cultural heritage and Palestinian culture using modern digital technologies.
• Raise the cultural level of the community through purposeful programs that promote authentic Palestinian cultural values while remaining open to other cultures.

Al-Shumou’ Center is a growing, non-profit educational institution that complements community education by:

• Offering semester-long courses taught by university-trained men and women for local students at all educational levels.
• Bringing in experts to conduct workshops on topics of local interest.
• Hosting regular social activities based on community interests.
